Kataryna spent 10 years in the financial services sector in Canada and the US working to strengthen retail and institutional commercialization and distribution capabilities. She focuses on business strategy & transformation, go-to-market optimization and leveraging technology to accelerate revenue growth.

Professional History

With a unique ability to understand a business across its breadth and depth, she evolves companies by developing go-to-market infrastructures to execute strategy, and ensuring integration with other business functions like operations, legal, finance and technology.

Her experience and expertise includes translating strategy into business architecture, operating models, and infrastructure, with an emphasis on product, sales & marketing. Using tools such as economic and business value drivers, predictive analytics and business intelligence, Kataryna has built and implemented sales enablement models, compensation and incentive methodologies, market & client segmentation strategies, omni-channel marketing & knowledge mgmt systems.

With expertise in the M&A space, she has led post-acquisition operational integration unifying organizational structures, rationalizing operating models, redefining governance, processes and cost structures.

She has created business synergies through developing global business transformation roadmaps, building predictive analytics and data visualization capabilities, ensuring portability of client engagement (sales & marketing business models) across technology platforms, and establishing corporate governance models to support globally centralized operations and technology functions like Portfolio Administration, Investment Operations, Accounting, IT & PMO

Kataryna founded her own consulting firm to develop “Blue Ocean” market opportunities across industries through digital prototyping.


Kataryna is an alumni of University of British Columbia’s Science Faculty, and of Schulich’s School of Business’s Master’s Certificate in Project Management. She also holds a Project Management Certificate Program from Loyola University, a Project Management Professional designation from the Project Management Institute, and has numerous designations in Business Analysis, and Business Modeling.

  • Led technology efforts at a Canadian venture capital firm developing & implementing technology roadmaps alongside business plans for start-up ventures.
    Built business infrastructures connecting front office execution to business strategy
  • Led technology for emerging online community in the mining industry (infomine.com); business grew to become the world leader in mining information, servicing over 700,000 subscribers; Catalyst was development of a proprietary e-commerce & subscription management platform that was an early adopter of mid-1990’s emerging real-time transaction processing technologies.
