Gursh Kundan is the CEO of Innovation Platform Capital focused on growing relationships within the venture capital and private equity community in US and Canada, innovators, universities, and government agencies.
Over the past 30 years, Mr. Kundan has designed and implemented business development and commercialization strategies in the Venture and M&A space leveraging his deep expertise and experience in business & client acquisition, transformation, and globalization for fortune 500 public enterprises.
From 2002-2016, Gursh was with Invesco participating to raise $350B in flows across asset classes including private equity across mutual funds, ETFs, UIT, sub-advised, separately managed accounts and collective trusts.
Starting as VP Corporate Services & Strategy at Invesco Canada leading strategic initiatives for the Americas, he transitioned to the US serving in positions such as EVP and Head of US Retail Business Development building strategic partnerships and investment research engagement. As Head of US Retail Internal Sales/Invesco Consulting he developed mult-tiered sales organizations across retail and retirement & insurance channels, and led the Invesco Consulting group dedicated to helping advisors grow their.
In the M&A space, Mr. Kundan led transformation and integration efforts for Invesco’s PowerShares acquisition and as EVP, US Retail Sales and CAO, he focused on integrating and re-positioning a combined post-acquisition asset management sales organization.
He has chaired Global Technology Distribution Committees focused on evolving sales and distribution practice and technology through innovation, Distribution Leadership Committees and has chaired several investment strategy engagement efforts, including cross-border opportunities with India and Asia.
Mr. Kundan completed the Private Equity and Venture Capital (PEVC) Program from Harvard Business School, Sustainable Development Studies from Columbia University, Healthcare Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Duke University School of Medicine, Entrepreneurship Program from The Wharton School, Virtual Teacher Specialization from University of California, and Executive Data Science Specialization from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Gursh earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. Along with his series 7, 24, & 66, he holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from York University and a PMP designation.

2000: Due diligence, development of economic scenarios and business cases, and business strategy to establish enterprise operation centers in PEI, Canada in partnership with the provincial government, as well as a global operations center in India.
